Templates
Ready-made pages, to add to the document
The panel
- It opens from the templates button of the bar at the bottom of the inspectors, in the footer.
- In the header, the category menu: Print, Business, Cards & events, Planners, Social, Interior, Web, each with the number of its templates. You see one at a time; the first time, the first one.
- The thumbnails grow when you widen the panel, and wrap.
Adding a page
| Gesture | What it does |
|---|---|
| Double-click a template | a new page of the document, where a new page would be created |
| Drag it onto the canvas | a new page with its top-left corner where you drop it |
The new page
- It is an independent copy, the size of the template, with the resources it uses: changing it does not touch the template.
- It takes the master of the active page. In a document in rows, the layout puts it in the row.
- It becomes the active page, framed and not selected. One step.
- Templates cannot be reordered or deleted: they belong to the Janvas library.
