Stroke panel
The "Stroke" properties panel shows the current style applied to the stroke. 

4 filling types are available:  "none", "color", "gradient" or "pattern".
These types of coloring can be assigned by a menu (see the image below) or by clicking on the color, gradient or pattern library.

The "thickness" property allows you to change the thickness of the graphic contour line.

The check box "non scaling stroke" allows you to choose if the line should maintain its thickness regardless of the zoom on the page or the resizing of the graphic element.

The first icon button shows a menu with the line cap styles.
The seconds icon button shows a menu with the bevel styles for the contour.
Stroke: Color
By clicking on the stroke button, when the type of coloring is "Color", color and transparency can be changed from the "Color Picker" panel. 
Stroke: Gradient
By clicking on the stroke button, when the type of coloring is "Gradient", the gradient properties can be changed from the "Edit gradient" panel.

Gradients are assigned by reference.
The "Duplicate" button  allows you to duplicate the current gradient.
Stroke: Pattern
By clicking on the stroke button, when the type of coloring is "Pattern", the pattern properties can be changed from the "Edit Pattern" panel.

Patterns are assigned by reference.
The "Duplicate" button  allows you to duplicate the current pattern.
Stroke Dash panel
From the “Dashed line” panel, you can edit the dash line of a stroke.
A dashed line can be applied from the dash library panel. 
The dashed line style can be modified by changing "dash/gap" fields.
The dash offset property defines the offset of the start of the dashed line.
